The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), on August 3, 2026, issued a communication informing all zonal and regional offices about the scheduled downtime of the e-Office application for system upgradation. The maintenance activity has been planned based on communication received from the NIC e-Office Team, and the application will remain unavailable on August 5, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
The scheduled upgrade includes deployment of eFile Version 7.4.4-3, Portal Version 8.2.2, MIS Version 7.3.0, and MDM Version 7.3.1-1, replacing the existing deployment running on Portal Version 8.0.1 and eFile Version 7.4.3. The upgradation aims to enhance the functionality and performance of the EPFO e-Office platform.
Accordingly, all EPFO offices have been advised that the e-Office application will not be accessible during the scheduled maintenance window, and users should plan their official work accordingly to avoid any disruption during the upgrade period.
